North Country Farming Network

The North Country Farming Network is a grassroots organization that was established to revive the base of small farms in north/central Vermont, through “farmers helping farmers to achieve self-sufficiency.” We are comprised of new and existing small-scale farmers who cooperate with one another to improve the societal and economic conditions of farming in Vermont. Our activities include a cooperatively run farmstand, bulk organic grain buying group, and egg marketing program, as well as shared equipment and livestock placements. One of our primary goals is to empower low-income and limited resource farmers, although membership is open to all.
