About Us

We work to rehabilitate disaster-hit areas of the Philippines through an architecturally innovative, eco-conscious, low-cost school project, The Active School.

Rebuilding shouldn’t just be about restoring structures, but revitalizing a damaged community as well. The ClassAct: Active School Project is a new classroom design suited to local conditions and makes use of indigenous materials in the rural Philippines. It aims to not just replace what was lost, but to improve upon its educational foundations, provide additional educational opportunities, re-energize the community through resident participation, and manage the ever-growing impact of climate change in marginalized and rural areas of the country.
