  • Mission

We are part of a larger nationwide organization called the Sunrise Movement, which is a youth-led nonprofit organization, which mainly focuses on climate change and social justice. Across the nation, we have over 110 Hubs, 114 to be exact. We are from the high school team within the Bay Area Hub. We are a team of high schoolers that are passionate about making an impact in the community around us, and are always looking for like-minded individuals to help us execute our projects :)

    About Us

As a team, we have previously hosted webinars, sharing our research with over 50 organizations about divestment from fossil fuels. We research intensively on projects that interest us and make a difference. We have been working on an article about Hostile Architecture for the past year, and are currently working to get it published. Overall, it is a place for a place for us, as youth, to make an impact on the community around us! We have also:

    • Created an infographic flyer about climate justice, social justice, and their relation to the COVID-19 pandemic.
    • Organized a text bank event to text individuals in swing states to vote in the 2020 election.
    • Created informative Instagram posts about the Georgia Senate Runoffs and ways we can take action in the Bay Area.
    • Slight work with AB-345 and SB-467.

    • Community Development
    • Environment & Sustainability
