Interfaith Hospitality Network
IHN provides shelter for homeless families with children. Houses of worship provide rooms within the congregation buildings to shelter families as well as volunteers to provide meals and spend evenings with the "Guests." Paid staff provide case management and general program oversight. Participating host congregations serve up to four families for one week at a time, four to five times per year. Families remain in the program until they get back on their feet by moving into independent housing.
