Cradles to Crayons Chicago

Cradles to Crayons sets a foundation for lasting change by providing meaningful, tanglible volunteer opportunities to thousands of individuals and familes and hundreds of corporations each year by organizing clothing collections, hosting a fundraiser, or working in the Giving Factory warehouse. Our shifts in our Giving Factory (located at 4141 W. George Street, Chicago 60641) give volunteers the opportunity to roll up their sleeves and sort, organize, and quality check the items donated to our organization. This is the perfect opportunity for corporate groups, families, sports teams, and many others to come together to improve the lives of local Chicagoland children.

We have volunteer shifts on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and most Saturdays and Sundays. We have these two shifts at 10AM-12PM and 1:30-3:30PM with some weekday after school (4:30-6:30PM) and work (6-8PM) shifts by request. Volunteer groups can be as large as 100 people and have volunteers as young as 5 years old.
