About Us

Rotaract Long Beach received its official charter on January 20th, 2010. It is a community-based Rotaract club for young professionals who strive to challenge the status quo, give back to their communities, and develop themselves as leaders.

Mission Statement

Mission towards members To provide continuous education and opportunities to help each member realize their leadership potential, and to be an organization that members feel truly proud to be a part of.

Mission towards community To plan and organize regular local and international community development projects to create positive and long-lasting impact.

Mission towards Rotary To build strong ties with Rotarians through joint projects and social events in order to mold and prepare the culture of Rotary for the 21st century.

Vision

Rotaract Long Beach will be the premiere professional and community development organization in Long Beach, CA, and will have a reputation for having high-quality members who work hard to improve both themselves and the world around them.

Rotaract Long Beach will NOT be a “happy hour club” where people join primarily for social activities or networking. Members will know that while being associated with smart and ambitious people is one of the many benefits of being a member, this friendship is something that occurs as a byproduct of working hard on projects together.
