Steps to End Domestic Violence, formerly Women Helping Battered Women is a community-based domestic violence program formed in 1974. In addition to providing emergency shelter and housing advocacy, Steps to End Domestic Violence offers 24-hour hotline, legal advocacy, children's programs and playgroups, support groups, economic justice and many educational outreach programs.
