    KALP, with WELCOME’s sponsorship and fiscal support, is dedicated to reducing functional illiteracy in the greater Kingman area. Services are provided by volunteer tutors at no cost to students in order to improve quality of life, enhance employability and ultimately reduce poverty.

    About Us

    The Kingman Area Literacy Program (KALP) is 100% volunteer run and provides 100% free tutoring in:

    • adult basic literacy.
    • GED test prep.
    • English language learning.
    • reading and schoolwork for school-aged children.
