Fairland Foundation established in 1998 is an indigenous Non Government Organization (NGO) supporting development initiatives at the grass-roots level in various districts in Uganda. Its operations are based on the belief that all persons regardless of ethnicity, religion, color, gender, age, or cultural background; are equal and should be accorded the opportunity to participate in the development process.
Its aim is to improve the well being of vulnerable groups particularly the orphans, street children, women, disabled , and the elderly. Fairland Foundation achieves its mission through the participatory approach where by the targeted beneficiaries are a part of the planning, implementation, and monitoring processes.
Fairland Foundation is managed by an Executive Board. This Board is replaced every two (2) years by the General Assembly. Both women and men are eligible for the Executive offices.
