Mission
The Giving Group aims to gather caring, considerate providers to assist with providing reloadable grocery cards in Chilliwack B.C.. We want to assist and alleviate financial stress by providing access to the freedom of choice at the grocery store for our cardholders.
About Us
The Giving Group is a registered Canadian charity that opperates in Chilliwack, B.C.. We founded in 2021 and are a small non-profit. We use the platform Donorbox for the majority of our donations. Our cardholders receive a reloadable grocery card that is funded on a monthly basis for them to purchase what they wish at the grocery store. We would love to gather more donations to provide both more cards, and a greater amount per card as our group grows.
Ideally, The Giving Group would like to expand to include providing housing in the form of rent subsidies, but, for now, we are just aiming to provide grocery support as we are still a small group.
