Philly Goat Project Inc.

  • Mission

The Philly Goat Project brings engaging, educational, and accessible opportunities to people throughout the Philadelphia region. Philly Goat Project provides education, therapy, job training, wellness, and community engagement activities in partnership with the dynamic and delightful capacities of goats.

    About Us

Philly Goat Project (PGP) started in 2018 and is located at the Farm at Awbury Arboretum. PGP was started by Karen Krivit, a community focused social worker and her daughter, Lily Sage a funeral director specializing in environmental justice. PGP has detailed information on their Volunteer tab on their website about expectations and roles. PGP provides many free community based programs on a regular basis where their small herd of well trained goats are the catalyst for activities such as walks in parks, reading at libraries, animal assisted therapy and a community teen job training program. More information about activities can be found on the PGP website.
