Arizona Unit, Recording for the Blind & Dyslexic
RFB&D is dedicated to providing, and promoting the effective use of, accessible educational materials. RFB&D volunteers record textbooks in viturally all subjects to assist students who are challenged by a visual, learning or other physical disability. In Arizona, nearly 300 volunteers produce more than 200 audio textbooks each year. These books become a part of RFB&D's master library of 93,000+ titles, which are made available to studnets throughout the United States.
