A Coalition for Self-Learning
'A Coalition for Self-Learning' is a transnational collective of autonomous groups and individuals helping one another to "envision a world without schools and create a world of learning communities." Together, and by consensus, they wrote the book "Creating Learning Communities." (Aug 2001), and a "Guidebook for Creating Learning Communities" (Nov. 2001). They are now establishing programs to help local groups organize as learner run "learning Co-ops." A major goal is to show that the Internet can help DO SOMETHING as well a be a forum for discussion.
