About Us

North Park University is located on the north side of Chicago. The School of Business and Nonprofit Management (SBNM) offers five master’s degrees:

 Master of Business Administration (MBA)

 Master of Nonprofit Administration (MNA)

 Master of Organizational Leadership (MOL)

 Master of Human Resource Management (MHRM)

Master of Higher Education Administration (MHEA).

Each degree requires 13 core courses and five electives.

The SBNM also offers 16 graduate certificates that include five graduate-level courses, which can be applied toward a master’s degree. Certificates include such subjects as Fundraising Management and Nonprofit Management.  

All full-time employees of 501 (c) organizations are eligible for a 35% tuition discount regarding any degree and certificate courses taken in the SBNM. All degrees and most certificates can be taken face-to-face or online . The University and all programs in the SBNM are accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, the regional Accrediting body in the Midwest.  

North Park University is also host to the Axelson Center for Nonprofit Management which serves the educational needs of nonprofit professionals through on-site training, online and in-person workshops, educational boot camps and customizable programming as well an annual symposium series (over 600 attendees) that addresses contemporary issues and challenges confronting nonprofit organizations.
