Golden Generations, Inc.

Golden Generations, Inc.'s (GGI) mission is to increase access to and enhance the coordination of services of youth and seniors in St. Petersburg, Florida.

GGI - a 501 c 3, was established in June 2003 to address a critical need in the South St. Petersburg community for intergenerational programs to meet the needs of youth and seniors in St. Petersburg, Florida.  These programs were designed to create partnerships in the community that would provide housing and other supportive services to bridge the gap between youth and elders by fostering vital relationships, improving communication, promoting social responsibility, and creating an atmosphere of trust and respect. Through these partnerships, Golden Generations has serviced over 500 youth and 200 seniors.

The new pilot project, My Sistah's Place (MSP) was launched in April 2018 to provide housing, career, education, health, and life skills to young women between the ages of 18-21 transitioning out of foster care and at risk of homelessness. Our aim is to train Mentors from the community will assist them developing the aforementioned skills to transition successfully to adulthood.
