James Madison University's M.A. in Political Science with a concentration in European Union Policy Studies (EUPS) is a one-year program based in Florence. Masters students in the program become experts in European politics and the transatlantic relationship in the city that has inspired the likes of Dante, Michelangelo, and Machiavelli.
The EUPS program is a 360° experience, starting in the classroom. The faculty is composed of European scholars, experts in their field. Small class sizes facilitate experiential learning and allows faculty to dedicate their attention to each individual student.
Master of Education in Spanish Language and Culture (M.Ed)
Dual Master’s Degree in Education at James Madison University (JMU), United States and University of Salamanca (USAL), Spain. The program leads to a Master in Education (M.Ed.) with a concentration in Spanish Language and Culture for Educators degree from JMU and a Salamanca Masters for Teachers of Spanish as a Foreign Language degree from USAL.
Graduate Certificate Program in International NGO Management
This innovative and intensive program offers students the opportunity to examine how international non-governmental organizations (NGOs) are affected by changes in their operating context. This focused program delivers 12 credit hours of instruction, including nine weeks of online classes during JMU's summer session (from mid-May through mid-July) and one week-long study abroad experience in July.
