Description

Social Impact Storytelling interns will be responsible for creating engaging and thought-provoking videos about Runa Foundation’s work in the Ecuadorian Amazon; highlighting the farmers we work with, the significance of guayusa to the Kichwa culture, and dynamic Amazon Rainforest. Working directly with our Communications Manager and Regional Programs Director, this intern will help to expand upon our brand awareness through our online social media awareness.

Intern activities include: preparing, editing, updating and composing online material such as graphics, photos, audio/video clips, etc. that highlight stories from farmers and reforestation projects. We'd also love an intern to create a video (or several short ones) which highlights the Foundation, what we do and how we help local communities. Runa Foundation also wants to create a video that highlights the results from our most recent project - a best practices manual for guayusa production.

Qualifications

This internship is geared towards recent graduates, undergraduate, and graduate students majoring in communications, film, international affairs, environmental science, sustainable agriculture, agroforestry, policy, business, or a related field.
