Unreasonable Kids/Unreasonable Kids College a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, social entrepreneurial educational program training the next generation of Kid- Superheroes. Unreasonable Kids see opportunity where adults see problems. The goal is to create opportunities for kids to tackle poverty, the environment, and others set by the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Unreasonable Kids creates a safe, peer to peer, coach-led environment to facilitate and inspire world changers as they learn how to release their fight for good.

Description
Unreasonable Kids College is currently looking for teachers/tutors that will teach math or reading to various grades from k- 5. Meet only on Wednesdays for 2 hours once a week. 10-week internship starting February and ending April 2021. Those selected will be trained to teach in a Lego Play format, the objective is to support inner-city children who need extra support to pass a standardized test in May 2021.
Each teacher/ tutor will have no more than 10 students per class, a total of 2 classes every Wednesday for the 10 weeks. Great opportunity for college students seeking to fulfill education k-5 practicum credit with a major in elementary school teaching. Also, welcome k-5 retired teachers looking to give back to the next generation learners. The teacher must have a big heart for low-income students, a high level of patience, and tenacity to see your kids thrive and pass the state standardized test. We provide an interactive online teaching environment that is playful, friendly, positive, warm, and conducive to learning.
