Science, Language & Arts is seeking an Operations Manager to support the successful operation of the school. The Operations Manager's responsibilities will cover a wide range of tasks to support two key functional areas: School-Day Operations and Long-term Business and Strategic Planning.

Core Functions include:

Purchasing and Supply Management

  • Track, inventory, and distribute all orders and supplies
  • Assist with the replenishment, upkeep and maintenance of the supply closet


  • Troubleshoot technology equipment (computer laptops, interactive whiteboards, iPads, printers)
  • Initiate and track service calls for technology equipment


  • Support student needs as necessary
  • Assist teammates in planning and executing all student and family events, including family conferences, field trips, etc.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
  • Collaborate with the Director of Operations and key program staff to support program development
  • Liaise with building management and security to address office needs
  • Support admissions strategy, admissions materials, and marketing initiatives
  • Maintain database of student records, immunization records, and student attendance
  • Support finance and tuition invoicing
  • Support human resource processes including recruitment, hiring, and onboarding
  • Ensure excellent communication and service for students, parents, school staff, and partners and clients
  • Support and advise the senior team in decision-making

  • Proven track record of developing, planning, producing, and implementing a demanding schedule of high quality, innovative educational programs
  • Strong leader and team-builder
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with program staff and school partners
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to interact with a diverse range of individuals both in person and over the phone, applying tact and discretion as situations demand
  • Must have excellent organizational, time management, and follow-up skills
  • Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
  • Must demonstrate ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite


  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Prior work experience in educational institution preferred
  • French- or Mandarin-speaking ability a plus

This is an excellent job for a recent graduate looking to gain work experience or a more experienced professional looking to work in a fun and challenging environment. School experience is helpful but not required, and on the job training will be available, with the opportunity to attend external conferences.
