Immigration Paralegal- NY

Small, solo immigration firm seeking part-time paralegal (fluent in Spanish and English). This position is best suited for someone interested in immigrant law and/or public interest law. The candidate will have the opportunity to work directly under attorney supervision and with clients in various immigration matters including but not limited to U-Visas, asylum, family based petitions, adjustment of status, TPS and DACA . Responsibilities may include assisting in preparing/reviewing immigration applications such as U/T non-immigrant visa, VAWA self-petitions, Naturalization, Family-Based Petitions, Adjustment of Status, TPS, Fee Waivers, and Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA);Research/Writing Assignments; Managing and Organizing files as needed. Due to COVID-19 the paralegal may be able to work remotely for most or all of the work week. Best for NY applicants and native Spanish speakers.
