Description

Urban Roots Farm is hiring, mostly for folks to harvest vegetables for the summer season and plant for the fall season. Few days a week, and open to flexible schedule, but Monday/Thursday is really best.

We would also consider adding a more experienced employee to the core staff (of like 4ish currently). This would only be for folks really interested in farming. For the right person, we could provide full-time seasonal employment.

We have a small team but we're all passionate about farming and serious about learning and doing our best job. If that sounds like something you'd like to be a part of, we'd want to have you out to work a day (for pay), see if the fit is good for both of us, and talk much more about what we do and what we can provide afterwards.

We have a lot of fun and we are doing what we love, but the work is serious and the conditions are frequently tough. It's not an easy job, but we think it's worth it. If you think you might, you should take the opportunity to find out.
