The role

As an Account Director, you will serve as a close partner to key non-profit clients, understanding their challenges and translating them into briefs that inspire our our creative and delivery teams. You’ll lead and facilitate thoughtful conversations with a variety of organizations, challenging their thinking to ensure we deliver the best possible outcome.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

Lead delivery across accounts, driving the best strategy and/or execution to meet clients’ needs in an agile and responsive way

Plan, schedule and estimate costs of new and existing business

Manage day-to-day execution of creative and delivery teams often in tandem with Strategy or Creative Lead

Have a clear view on the BSD vision, working closely with new and existing organizations to help them understand the value we can add and potential opportunities to work together from first contact to contract

Top things we’re looking for

  1. 6+ years of relevant experience in agency or non-profit digital fundraising
  2. Deep knowledge of email and direct marketing fundraising strategies and tactics and/or experience in selling and/or delivering email fundraising programs
  3. Experience in cross channel support for fundraising efforts i.e. social media, mobile, or other digital strategies
  4. Experience with (or willingness to learn) project management tools and methodologies
  5. Ability to adapt to new situations, solve problems on the fly, and communicate with those around you. Teamwork and scrappiness required.
  6. A shared passion and curiosity for making change. This includes comfort with ambiguity, a restlessness that resists the status quo, and a commitment to quality that ensures we’re always making progress.
  7. Empathy, communication, respect, and the ability to act as a role model at BSD
