Join the Genuine Foods team as the Deputy Culinary Director, to help ensure that students and families get the simple, healthy and tasty food they deserve!


The Deputy Culinary Director is an integral role in the company who works closely with and reports directly to the Culinary Director. Their main responsibility will be assisting the Culinary Director manage the day-to-day operations of the production kitchen. This includes assisting in menu planning, procurement and receiving, daily production and packing, and ensuring that all menu items that are produced are of high quality and compliant with the National School Lunch Program (NSLP).


The ideal candidate will be organized and possess close attention to detail, have excellent time and people management skills, and very comfortable working with numbers. Previous experience in procurement and managing high-volume production is preferred.
