About Certified Employee-Owned
Our mission is to build an employee-owned economy. Business as an institution is central to American life, and new models of business are required to address wealth inequality, create good jobs, and build a stronger, more local American economy. Employee-owned business offers a alternative that creates broad-based wealth, increases business productivity, and ties business to community in ways that are good for local economies. Despite the advantages, and the prevalence of employee-owned companies in America, today they are invisible.
Certified EO is building a network to bring national visibility to employee ownership. Our certification is helping Americans find great employee-owned companies. We also provide the tools and resources our members need to win greater brand recognition, inspire more committed employees, and create more devoted customers. By increasing the visibility of our individual members, we amplify the employee-owned movement as a whole.
