Neon One is seeking an Implementation Consultant for its Neon CRM product. This position will report to Neon One’s Implementation Manager. This is a remote (home-based) position until approximately Summer 2021, when Neon One’s Chicago office is scheduled to reopen (date subject to change). After the Chicago office reopens, this position will either be based at the Chicago office OR will continue to work from home.
We are seeking a self-motivated, intelligent, puzzle-loving problem solver who wants to help nonprofits use technology more efficiently. Above all else, you must be passionate about delivering best-in-class customer service. As an implementation consultant, you will own the client onboarding and training process from beginning to end, helping new clients make a smooth transition from their previous donor/member database to NeonCRM.
Who are we? We are a mission-driven software company, working to empower nonprofit organizations with best-in-class technology solutions. We care about nonprofits and the people who run them, and we're constantly learning and growing both as individuals and as a team.
We’re proudly nerdy, know how to have fun, and - most of all - we like to get things done on behalf of our clients.
Who are you? You have a strong work ethic and are solutions-oriented. You're driven, passionate about client relationships, and enjoy thinking outside of the box to find solutions. You care about making good happen in the world and you'd like your job to be more than just a job.
Why work for us? We're growing rapidly. As a part of our team, you'll navigate challenging assignments, grow professionally, and have access to professional development opportunities and industry thought leaders. Best of all, you'll get to work with a great group of people that thrives on innovation, collaboration, creativity, and risk taking.
Maintain a full portfolio of new clients, serving as their primary point of contact throughout implementation. Work with a variety of clients of different missions and sizes.
Serve as the implementation project lead, taking responsibility for the client’s overall implementation success and timeline. Focused on launching clients as successfully and quickly as possible.
Work autonomously to perform data imports, system configuration, training, and other onboarding tasks.
Lead live webinar product trainings that translate technical concepts to diverse audiences. Trainings are conducted daily, currently through Zoom.
Review and analyze client data, conduct data consultations, and map client data from their legacy database to NeonCRM. Conduct basic data imports using in-product tools, and prepare complex more complex data imports by writing import rules for software engineers.
Apply critical thought to anticipate client needs, provide solutions, and reduce friction involved in migrating to a new database.
Balance daily external interactions such as webinar trainings with “quiet time” activities such as data imports.
Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills.
Develop extensive working knowledge of our products.
In addition to achieving key performance benchmarks, employees are expected to demonstrate skills essential to this role: technical expertise (product knowledge), understanding of client best practices, project management, adaptability, problem solving, clear communication, excellent customer service, and data fluency.
Contribute to other departmental duties as needed by the Professional Services team.
1+ years in a training or teaching role, with ability to convey technical subject matter to non-technical audiences
Experience in the nonprofit industry preferred
The ability to learn new software quickly
Experience working with a similar CRM platform
The ability to understand databases and database structures
Strong customer service background
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail
Experience working in a SaaS environment a plus
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and familiarity with functions such as INDEX-MATCH
Willingness to learn Neon One products, Salesforce, JIRA and other Atlassian products, and other technology platforms used by Neon One.
