We are seeking a Program Manager, you will be responsible for the overall growth and success of Hola<code/>, and own all aspects of the bootcamp operation. This is an exceptional opportunity at a fast-growing start-up. Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that all bootcamp operations are delivered on-time. Develop a detailed operations plan and calendar to track progress and performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
  • Develop and implement operations systems, processes, standards and documentation, including but not limited to HowTos, Job Descriptions, Expense trackers, etc.
  • Enhancing the quality of our program.
  • Developing and implementing strategy for the program team, including developing a robust risk mitigation plan.
  • Understanding how different projects interlink and overlap.
  • Working with the Operations team to manage staff and resources for programs.
  • Liaising with the marketing and communications team to increase awareness about the program.
  • Motivate the team and contribute to create a community between students and team members.
  • Managing budget and reporting cash flow.
  • Coordinating and running events and workshops. Serve as the point person for regularly scheduled events, requires logistical planning & space accommodation
  • Gathering feedback and presenting insights from the educational team.
  • Reporting on program performance to Educational Lead.
  • Identifying opportunities for continual improvement. Analyze and recommend strategies to increase efficiency of Hola<code/> operations.
  • Ensuring relevant standards, process and regulations are upheld.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a project manager.
  • Ability to prioritize, critically think through a task, and execute it.
  • Proven success in cross-functional management, organization, and exceeding targets.
  • Organized and able to work autonomously on a list of short term and longer term projects.
  • Experience with budgets, vendors and contractors, and facilities upkeep.
  • Experience in leading teams and strong communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Knowledge about coding is a plus.
  • Knowledge about migration problems and a bicultural approach is a plus.
  • Knowledge about the tech sector/culture in Mexico and the US is a plus.

  • Interpersonal skills – this is a people’s job. You have to be able to and genuinely love connecting with diverse groups of people and personality profiles, all the time, in multiple ways.
  • Stamina - It varies almost daily, you need to maintain the energy of the community.
  • Create Opportunities - Passion for creating positive outcomes in people’s lives through education and dignified employment.
  • Communications skills - individual and group interaction, both with your community, our team, and business partners, will require much of your time and energy.
  • Organization Skills - ability to seamlessly manage multiple moving pieces on a daily/weekly basis from planning to full execution.
  • Patience and tolerance - this role will test you at times. You must show emotional maturity and thoughtfulness at all times.
  • Ability to Command a Crowd - You will need to host events, facilitate workshops, lead meetings, or get the attention of 30+ people.
  • Digital/Technology skills - must be able to learn new technologies and tools quickly and feel comfortable using tools like Discord, Slack, Hootsuite, Zoom and Google Suite.
