BlueWave has an immediate opening for a Director of Product Management reporting to the Managing Director of Product Operations. This individual will play a critical role in managing the Product team’s roadmap of improvements and coordinate the implementation of those improvements with our various stakeholder groups to ensure timely delivery of needed scope. The position will work closely with product developers, administrators, and our emerging design department as well as external stakeholders to deliver best in class products.



We Seek a dynamic and organized product manager with the right combination of technical development expertise and communication skills. We are looking for someone who thrives in taking complex requirements and refining those into the discreet steps needed to produce best-in-class digital products. The right candidate is adept at communication with internal and external customers, knows how to tailor the message to the audience, and knows how to manage expectations.

Duties and Responsibilities:


·      Serve as key product manager for our product team 

·      Support development and maintenance of product pipeline

·      Work closely to define and refine scope in a way that enables early and frequent delivery of products, often with iterative improvement

·      Work effectively within our agile development framework

·      Support development and maintenance of product pipeline

·      Scope product improvements with necessary stakeholders to ensure we are balancing all business requirements

·      Maintain continuous dialogue with internal and external users to define and refine work scope necessary to meet team goals and proactively manage implementation timelines

·      Practice Agile development methodology and help shape the development practices of the Product Team to best meet the needs of all stakeholders

·      Seek and develop new product improvements drawing from industry and software best practice

·      Keep up to date with external updates and incorporate and work incorporation and testing into the product pipeline

·      Develop and maintain feedback mechanisms and analytics for user and stakeholder input


Required Qualifications/Skills/Education:


·      B.S. with a STEM major

·      5+ years experience in product management or product development role  

·      Demonstrated experience with Agile work methodologies and tools

·      Demonstrated success producing excellent business results with limited resources
