Description

For 22 years CCS has impacted many communities in 9 countries around the world.  The Group Coordinator supports the recruitment and preparation of the largest segments of volunteers- groups.   CCS coordinates volunteer projects for university, corporate, and specialist interest groups in all locations. You will have the opportunity to live abroad and work right out of the CCS Home-Base in an office with our expat team members.  

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Assist in developing and maintaining relationships with Group leaders / Group liaisons / Group chaperones
  • Field incoming inquiries on group travel and assist in the ongoing maintenance of relationships with sponsoring organizations
  • Send follow-up emails and materials to address questions and move potential partnerships forward in the enrollment process
  • Regularly communicate with the status of groups
  • Log group communication and group activities in Salesforce
  • Assess needs of groups, make recommendations on program participation, and collaborate with CCS staff to facilitate internal pre-enrollment procedures for groups
  • Draft necessary group agreements, specific to an individual opportunity; collaborate with CCS departments and staff accordingly
  • Facilitate the Group enrollment process and work to contribute to organizational enrollment goals
  • Prepare groups for travel through welcome and predeparture calls and support over phone and email
  • Assist in development of marketing targeted to organizations that could sponsor groups
  • Support facilitation of groups in the field, as necessary
  • Analyze all of your efforts that affect enrollment, including the quality and quantity of our contacts with prospects, in a constant search for improvement.


REQUIREMENTS TO SUCCEED

  • Previous experience in a sales driven role
  • Experience facilitating or working with group travel, universities or corporations
  • Enthusiasm for international travel: demonstrated interest in different cultures
  • Proven leader: have taken on leadership positions with clubs and other organizations
  • Passion for Volunteerism: track-record for volunteering locally or abroad
  • Good communicator: strong communication experience with diverse people of all ages
  • Tech-savvy: experience in google suite, social media tools, and a plus if you’ve worked within a CRM like SalesForce
  • Go-getters: a willingness to go above and beyond your roles to get the job done for our stake-holders without being micro-managed
