Amazon Web Services Cloud Systems Administrator
The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Systems Administrator(s) (AWS-CSA) will be responsible for working in a mixed Windows, Linux, and Unix software environment. The responsibility of the individual(s) is to manage the instances of the cloud infrastructure services and cloud servers. And, oversees and maintains, multiuser computing environment as per the requirements of the organization. The individual(s) in this position must have working technical knowledge of virtual machines (IaaS, Writing Code (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS). The candidate must be well versed in using Amazon Web Services server platform and be able to advise us on other appropriate AWS technologies..
The AWS-CSA will develop, configure, implement and manage the systems that comprise the underlying cloud platform. The individual(s) should monitor and alter the systems as per the prescribed methodology.
Job Description
The primary job responsibilities of the AWS-CSA are to work in coordination with the Co- Directors to develop and support cloud, windows, Linux or Unix infrastructure on the AWS cloud platform. In addition, provide technical assistance on both PC and cloud windows, cloud-based systems, and resolve operational problems. The professional will also assist in the administration of AWS cloud services and Windows server environment. Examples of potential tasks:
Install & Troubleshoot
The AWS-CSA will install and configure the Windows operating system in cloud IaaS providers. The individual is also the go-to personnel to resolve and provide any assistance about AWS system problems. They will manage the configuration and network security of the systems to make sure they are working correctly and they are up-to-date. It is also the individual’s responsibility to manage and upgrade operating systems.
Implement & Integrate
The AWS-CSA monitors and analyzes the capabilities and performance of the systems. They will implement new technologies, and integrate systems into the computing environment. It is the individual’s responsibility to document systems infrastructure for the convenience of the users.
Security & Strategies
The AWS-CSA should provide all the necessary assistance to the cloud servers, including security configurations, patching, and troubleshooting. The personnel also helps to maintain system security strategies, policies, and procedures.
