    Description

    Fundraising & Grants Assistant

Literacy Volunteers of the Montachusett Area seeks a committed volunteer to help ensure that we continue to receive the funding we need to provide literacy and English language learners in our community with free, confidential, flexibly scheduled, and individualized help.

The volunteer Fundraising & Grants Assistant will work with the Executive Director to:

    - Communicate with and grow our current donor base

    - Seek out and apply for grants

    - Plan fundraisers

    - Brainstorm and pursue ways to raise our profile in the community

This work can be done remotely or in the office. While raising funds can be hard work, it can also be fun and rewarding! Please consider helping to make a crucial difference in the sustainability of a small nonprofit that has played a tremendous role in our community since 1973.
