    Description

    Every person has a gift. Our volunteer coordinators will help you find that special something that makes your care truly special, and then match your talents with opportunities in your area.

    Are you a college student, retired or just someone looking for a way to give back? There is no minimum time commitment; we will work with your schedule.

    Gentiva Hospice is currently seeking volunteers to visit terminally ill, hospice patients all over the Lenexa area, Leawwod, Olathe, Gardner, Wellsville and Ottawa and surrounding areas. Volunteers read to patients, play games, watch movies, craft or event simply sit with a patient so their caregiver can get a short break to go shopping, do errands or attend appointments.

    Hospice volunteers are people with a giving heart and compassion so if this sounds like you; we'd love to have you as part of our team! Orientation and training provided! Come make a difference!
