Research and Creative Writing to Inspire Educators

If you are passionate about innovation in education and want to contribute to improve public education, this volunteering opportunity is for you!

At Evolving Education we are democratizing the world's most innovative educational practices. We are developing the documentary film "Killing Curiosity" and an online training experience for educators. We have interviewed +100 educators, parents and learners from four continents for this project. We care about quality and access to education and will make our trainings available to vulnerable communities.

We are looking for a collaborator that support us in the development of written contents for our online learning experience. This would involve researching and synthetizing educational materials and write them with empathy to our “user personal”, the profile of educator that we want to connect with. They are meant to be short readings, usually 1-3 page-long. The contents include topics such as emotional intelligence, self-awareness, democratic education and motivation.

Additional details:

  • We work using agile and horizontal team structures that enable any team member to get involved in any activity that motivates them.
  • We are on a highly active phase of the project, developing the online training both in English and Spanish. But you will only need to work on the English materials. We aim to publish it by October.
  • We are looking for someone who can work with us for at least 3 months and with a minimum dedication of 5 hours a week (or 1h a day).
  • This volunteering is 100% online.
