The Communication & Community Engagement Lead will take the lead role in developing a communication and community engagement strategy that will consistently articulate Imagine Her’s mission. The Communication & Community Engagement Lead will work at the forefront of building on our brand identity while working with program staff to develop online content that creates awareness about our programming across all our social media platforms. The Communication & Community Engagement Lead will take the lead role in the execution of the following Responsibilities. This position is remote therefore there won’t be any travel.

Responsibilities

1. Develop, implement and evaluate communication and community engagement strategy
2. Develop and guide the brand and it’s management processes
3. Management of website & all social media platforms
4. Support & train program staff on how to use content attainment tools

Imagine Her is a small nonprofit organization that believes in working with communities to leverage the power and potential of every girl and youth to create sustainable futures and communities. Our model was developed to empower girls and women holistically to improve their own lives and that of their communities. We have very limited resources and staff and we are almost entirely volunteer operated. Each member of our team is working towards realizing our mission by dedicating their time and skills through a wholehearted commitment to it. As a result, we are equally dedicated to those who work with us. We are seeking an individual whose dedication to the value of women's empowerment matches our own. 

Requirements

• Proven track record in nonprofit communication
• Exceptional storytelling skills
• Interest in women rights and gender equality
• Creativity, curiosity, and ambition 
• Knowledge to work confidently with platforms such as WordPress, Mailchimp, and other social media platforms.
