The Development Coordinator position gives a VISTA the opportunity to assist in researching, planning, and writing grants in addition to developing fundraising events and processes to engage existing and potential donors for ICRI. ICRI has grown extensively within the last two years, providing an exciting opportunity for a VISTA member to use a variety of skills, including writing, planning, researching, process analysis and development. The VISTA will research new grant funding opportunities, research potential donors, and analyze existing grants to develop a new process to expand the funding of ICRI. The VISTA will coordinate grant activities for ICRI programs by assessing the current state of grant management, including application, evaluation and reporting, and implementing new grant processes. In addition, the VISTA will manage and expand donor relations and engagement, as well as create and revise strategic funding plans to organize and centralize ICRIs fundraising efforts.
