    Description

    Administrative Support

    Caring for Citizens of Alabama, Inc. is seeking organized, reliable, and detail-oriented individuals to assist with essential office tasks that support our programs in food distribution, healthcare access, community outreach, and workforce development. The Administrative Support Volunteer will play a vital role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations

    Key Responsibilities:

    Greet visitors, answer phone calls, and direct inquiries to the appropriate staff

    Assist with filing, scanning, copying, and maintaining records

    Help prepare outreach materials, letters, mailings, and event packets

    Support data entry tasks in Excel or CRM platforms (training provided)

    Maintain office supplies and assist with inventory tracking

    Help schedule appointments and coordinate meeting logistics

    Provide support during food distribution or community events, as needed

    Preferred Skills:

    Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, email, etc.)

    Good communication and interpersonal skills

    Ability to work independently and handle confidential information

    Friendly, professional, and willing to learn
