Volunteers Needed To Bag Groceries For DC Families

To meet the increased needs of our community during the COVID-19 pandemic, and subsequent school closures, Martha's Table distributes bags of groceries at its Southeast headquarters, Northwest location, and other designated meal distribution sites.

As a volunteer, you'll join our team at our headquarters in Southeast, DC to help build bags with a menu of fresh, vibrant produce and healthy pantry items. We are pre-packaging thousands of bagged groceries daily so guests can quickly grab food at our sites. Volunteers will also help break things down and sanitize the bagging space.

This is a behind-the-scenes event, there will be no distribution or community interaction by volunteers. Yet we will still have music and a ton of fun!
