    Description

Crafting Comfort: Sewists, Crocheters & Knitters Needed

Do you love to sew, crochet, or knit? Your creativity can bring warmth and comfort to patients receiving hospice care. We are looking for volunteers to create handmade hats, scarves, and lap blankets that will be delivered to patients during the colder months.

While this is an indirect volunteer opportunity (done at home), each item you make will be personally delivered to a patient by our volunteer team, providing a tangible expression of care and compassion.

    Responsibilities

    • Sew, crochet, or knit hats, scarves, or lap blankets.
    • Use soft, washable yarns and fabrics suitable for patients.
    • Arrange drop-off of finished items with the Volunteer Coordinator.
    • Optional: include a short handwritten note of encouragement to accompany your items.
