Blood Donor Ambassador Do you want to help with lifesaving blood collections during the COVID-19 crisis? Volunteer at blood drives to carry out other aspects of our lifesaving work.
The American Red Cross has a high priority need for Blood Donor Ambassadors to continue delivering services to our communities. Volunteers welcome visitors to Red Cross facilities or blood drives and take their temperature before they enter. Visitors could include potential blood donors, people seeking help, course participants, and Red Cross employees and volunteers. We can use your help right now!
Volunteers will be scheduled for shifts according to their schedules. Search for “Blood” or “Biomed” in the search bar to find positions. www.redcross.org/volunteer
Safety First! Interested in serving to meet essential service needs in the public? Be sure to review the CDC guidance for people who are at higher risk for severe illness, consult your health care provider, and follow local guidance. The number one priority of the American Red Cross is the health and safety of our employees, volunteers, blood donors, and recipients, and the people we serve.
How This Helps Our Community
You will be a part of helping people at blood donations. Each donation can save up to three lives and ensures adequate blood supplies for hospitals!
