Bachelor degree in international relations, public policy, public administration or another related are.

At least 3 years of experience in the areas of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, monitoring and evaluation and project reports with the United Nations or International Organizations.

Fluent in English (C1); Spanish (desirable)

Summary of Key Functions

Under the direct supervision of the project manager, the Sustainable Development Goals Specialist will assume the following tasks:

  • Review and Analyze SDG data for Voices GY
  • Identify measurement indicators and asses impact for the 17 goals and 169 targets
  • Prepare SDG impact report
  • Conduct one presentation session with UN agencies and governmental institutions

1. Review and Analyze data from Voices GY’s programs and projects

  • To analyze information and areas of work of a national non-profit organization
  • To summarize the areas of work into the SDGs
  • To identify goals and targets impacted

2. Identify SDG Indicators:

  • Identify localized SDG indicators of unique relevance to the country (Guyana)
  • To analyze and compile information related to SDG indicators and the organization’s inputs

3. Prepare SDG impact report (about 10-15 pages máx)

  • To compile data, explaining methodologies and summarizing SDGs, targets and impacts.
  • To work with designers in the development of the final version of the report, providing all the information needed for the structure of the report.

4. Conduct presentation sessions with UN agencies, governmental institutions and other stakeholders

  • Conduct a presentation with the relevant stakeholders which would include a presentation of a review of data, methodology to measure SDG indicators in non-profit organizations and a summary of the organization’s impact for each SDG.

About Voices GY:

Since its foundation in 2018, Voices GY has emerged as one of Guyana's foremost Civil Society Organisations working to support migrants and their host communities. Voices GY has transformed from a small volunteer organisation trying to make a difference, to a hub for more than 25 professionals in Guyana and across the globe to contribute towards current educational, livelihoods, mental health, capacity building and cultural programmes.

This year, we aim to publish the first SDG impact made by a non-profit organization in the region. This report will be an unique tool which we aim to increase awareness and understanding in how to measure and monitor the 17 SDGs and its impacts in society.


This is a volunteer position without economic compensation.

Free Spanish classes and psychological support available upon request and access to Zoom pro (depending on availability).

Working hours:

Flexible part-time (5-8 hours per week)
