About Global Crisis Response (GCR):

Global Crisis Response is a systematic effort aimed at collectively exploring the best means to articulate & navigate the current era of the Anthropocene characterized by Climate Change, scarcity, chaos & uncertainty. It is the flagship initiative of Orb Tranz Research & Broadcasting Foundation, a not for profit (Section-8 Company) registered in Mumbai, India. It came into existence in April 2021.

Volunteer qualification:

The volunteer preferably must have some experience (consulting or entrepreneurial) in designing an organization’s structure appropriate to achieve its goals.

Project details:

Our board currently consists of two directors (including myself). The organization addresses multi-disciplinary global (eco-centric) sustainability & societal collapse issues. It will benefit immensely if it has a board knowledgeable, skillful and well-connected across all sectors. I have a Big Picture perspective on the current human predicament but lack the non-profit background, scholarship & administrative experience to put together the founding team members of the board. In this regard i will be very glad to receive effective guidance (advice, strategy) from an HR professional who has the expertise in non-profit sector or has personally put together such a board in circumstances similar to mine.

Scope of the project includes the following:

  1. Suggest an organization structure & strategy road-map to build a virtual volunteer driven organization appropriate to meet the objectives of GCR
  2. Job descriptions for key profiles
  3. Gap analysis

Time Commitment:

The Project involves understanding GCR's vision in order to formulate an effective strategy. This assignment is of strategic value hence we will support the volunteer with all the support and information. However it does not have stiff deadlines and can be flexible with the volunteer’s circumstances.
