Your local American Red Cross office is seeking a skilled lead volunteer to assist with new programming that promotes local volunteer recruitment initiatives in Northern New England. Here is what you could do as our Recruitment Lead Volunteer:
With support of our Sr. Volunteer Recruitment Specialist you would help manage a ambassador program that encourages current Red Cross volunteers to help promote new volunteer needs in their communities, often times rural communities. You would facilitate a monthly planning meeting, present virtual Lunch & Learns develop guidance and resources, conduct volunteer check ins, among other projects that support recruitment initiatives and programming.
Red Cross Bloggers and Feature Writers are a part of a creative content volunteer team that creates professionally-written content for news releases, media alerts, and regional platforms including blogs, social media feeds, websites and other outlets.
In addition to being creative we are seeking someone who is passionate about our Red Cross mission, has computer skills, effective communication skills and time management skills, and who is detail oriented.
