Description
Salus Hospice is seeking Vigil Volunteers for our patients. Vigil volunteers play a vital role in supporting the families and patients on the days in which the patients are closest to completing their lives. We provide a specialized Vigil Volunteer training. This opportunity is great for experienced hospice vols. that are looking to take their help to the next level. It's also great for anyone who is new to hospice. Vigil Vols. provide emotional support, companionship and respite. The time frame is usually for 4-8 hours and sometimes help is needed during the night.
