P.E.A.R.L. (Pacific, Education, Advocacy, Research, Learning) Institute of New York, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in New York City, was established as a non-profit organization in San Diego, California in 1993 by a group of professionals with a strong commitment to address the social policy as well as human services needs of individuals and families from different cultural backgrounds within the Pacific Rim. 

P.E.A.R.L. Institute of New York is dedicated to the education, advocacy, research and dissemination of information that contributes to culturally competent social work practice and other human services programs serving the United States, Pacific Rim populations and beyond.


We are currently looking for a website developer and graphic designer volunteers. A commitment of at least 5-10 hours per week is required. This is a work-from home position with flexible hours. 

Responsibilities:

  • Website design and maintenance, social media platforms, and donation emails
  • Create event and program flyers
  • Work closely with the social media and communications person to ensure brand consistency

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience to conceptualize and design websites
  • Must have extensive experience with Adobe Create Suite and Google Drive
  • 2+ years experience in the field of graphic design and web design
  • Understanding nature of Non-profit organization preferred
  • English Chinese bilingual welcomed
