Resume Consultant

Youth Employment Service (YES) is seeking volunteers for the Resume Consultant position to help mentor youth and young adults one-on-one to improve upon resume building and development, assisting them to enhance what they have already drafted.

This is a great experience to affect positive change in the youth of our community.

WHEN

These appointments vary depending on clients’ needs and availability.

Resume Workshops are also periodic.

WHERE

Currently, all resume appointments are being held virtually via Zoom.

REQUIREMENTS

·      Must enjoy working with youth and young adults.

·      Must have knowledge about building an adequate resume.

·      Must be willing to work one-on-one to deliver a personalized approach to resume mentoring.

·      Must notify YES Staff at least 48 hours prior to appointment if you need to cancel.

·      Dress in business casual attire for Resume Consulting appointments (no jeans or t-shirts).

·      Must be 18 years of age or older.

TRAINING

·      Handout materials provided going over framework and basics.

·      Further training available if needed.

This is a great opportunity if you require flexibility and can volunteer sporadically. We will try to work with your schedule, and there is no set time commitment required at this time!
