    All of our volunteers go through the same onboarding process as our paid staff which includes background check and fingerprinting, urine drug screen, 2 step TB test, reference check, and orientation.

    Description

    Join our team as a volunteer with Elite Hospice and provide support to patients and their families during a pivotal time in their lives. We offer a variety of options including helping in homes, in the office, in the community, and remotely. Opportunities include but are not limited to: offering emotional support, assisting with light household tasks, caring for pets, participating in recreational activities, making phone calls, and helping with administrative tasks.

    We seek individuals with empathy and patience who can maintain confidentiality and respect patient privacy. Volunteers must be willing to undergo relevant training and background checks. Benefits include making a positive difference, gaining valuable experience in healthcare, flexible volunteer hours, and ongoing training and support.
