Volunteer to Support a Foster Family in Paulding County

Atlanta Angels believes not everyone is called to foster or adopt, but everyone can make a difference in the life of a child. There are several ways you can make a difference. We have the Love Box program, where we match a foster family with a volunteer in their community who is committed to building a relationship and showing consistently. The Love Box program provides fostering families (caregivers, children in foster care, and biological/adopted children) with community and holistic support. As a Love Box group, you will be matched with a local foster family based on location, compatibility, and scope of needs. When our families are matched with committed volunteers who show up monthly, parents feel supported and children gain a greater sense of normalcy, relational permanency, and self confidence.

We are currently seeking specific volunteers to be matched with families on our waitlist! We are specifically looking for volunteers in or around the Acworth area for Family #55. The family we are supporting includes two caregivers who have adopted two siblings, ages 4 and 5, and now have two more little ones in their home! A 7mo girl and another 5yo boy mean this family could use some more support! They were previously matched in the Love Box program, but as they added more kiddos and their needs changed, we are looking for a volunteer to walk alongside this family by showing up to spend time with them, provide babysitting, and care packages.
