    Description

Docents and other interested people for the Gilman Historic Ranch and Wagon Museum

The Gilman Historic Ranch and Wagon Museum is a premier western history and Southern California history site in Banning, California. A major link on travel routes dating back some 10,000 years, the Gilman Ranch today consists of the historic Gilman family home, several outbuildings, a gold-panning area, nature trail, and a large museum building containing over a dozen original wagons dating to the 1800s.

The Gilman Ranch Hands are seeking people to help guide members of the public through this wonderful location, and also to join the Ranch Hands to help do research, provide technical expertise, assist with the collections, and help maintain and enhance the park to provide a valuable visitor experience. There are also opportunities to assist with some of the special events that occur at the Ranch, including the annual Wild West Days and Western Art Show.
