    Description

    A large part of our mission at Rock House Kids is to provide a safe place for inner-city kids. Security volunteers share in this mission and play a vital role in our evening programming.

    Security Volunteers:

    ·Serve as crossing guards and eyes for any unsafe activity around the building as kids leave and arrive

    ·Are provided with a walkie-talkie to communicate with RHK staff.

    ·If possible, plan to hang out and share a meal with the kids. This will help in building trust-based relationships with them.

    All Rock House Kids Volunteers:

    ·Provide a consistent & strong presence for our kids

    ·Build trust-based relationships

    ·Demonstrate a strong faith walk

    Programming Info:

    ·Arrive at RHK at 4:55pm and finish by 8:15pm, Monday through Thursday.

    ·Security Volunteers are needed all four nights.

    oWe will work with you to determine the night/nights that work best with your schedule.
