Sign up for the Climate Museum’s Climate Action Leadership Program!

The Climate Action Leadership Program (CALP) is an online volunteer opportunity open to all US based high school students (ages 14 to 18). We are recruiting teens as volunteers who are interested in developing the skills necessary to be the climate leaders of tomorrow.

Young people around the world are raising their voices to demand bold climate action. As a member of CALP you will have the opportunity to:

  • Collaborate with other teens who share your passion for climate action.
  • Speak up about your climate demands, thoughts about climate justice and ideas for action.
  • Boost outreach for Climate Museum programs and events as ambassadors.
  • Participate in focus groups.
  • Learn about Climate Museum art, education, and advocacy programs.
  • Advance climate action campaigns in your own community.
  • Volunteer at public events if you’re in/ around NYC (TBD based on pandemic safety)

Time Commitment: The time commitment is flexible! You can register and attend as many volunteer opportunities as you would like!

The Climate Museum values diversity and views the climate crisis as, among other things, a social justice crisis. People of color, people with disabilities, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community are especially encouraged to apply. If you need accommodations, including technological accommodations, please reach out to youthprograms@climatemuseum.org
