Social scientist volunteer in the Peruvian Amazon

Minga Peru is a non-profit with over 20 years of experience producing radio programs for social change in the Amazon.

Description

Support the Minga Peru team through finding information on human exploitation that will help the production of educational programs for students in the Peruvian Rainforest.

Qualifications

We’re looking for volunteers with the following experience and skills:

• Graduates or senior students in Sociology, Antropology, Psychology or related careers

• Intermediate spoken level of Spanish

• At least two months of availability

• Ability to work with a multidisciplinary and intercultural team

• Proactive attitude, suggesting ideas and proposals to improve the radio production

• Ability to communicate with clarity and passion with the management team and radio production

Experience in community work, youth, or women; or experience in developing social projects is not mandatory but highly valued.
